How Dusk Montage started
Rafael Andrade spent seven years as a photojournalist for a regional newspaper in Curitiba before he started Dusk Montage in 2017. He had covered floods, elections, and a lot of football. Good training for reading a room and staying out of the way. What he kept noticing, though, was that the photographs he cared most about were the ones taken in the ten minutes before the light disappeared. Not the official moments. The ones just before or just after.
